PHP Mastery to CMS Mastery

    What’s involved learning how to customize a CMS such as MODx for the person who has mastered PHP?

    Is it like learning a whole new language? .. or a simple adjustment / adaptation?

      As far as Revo is concerned, if you understand object-oriented PHP programming, just learning the core API written in PHP is all there is to it.

      Of course, this depends on your definition of "customize".
