Internationalization of Revolution Sites

I lost count of how many times i’ve read the documentation for Internationalization on Revolution and still don’t understand the lexicon concept. I don’t know if it is because im looking at it as if it should be like YAMS for Evolution. Is this Lexicon Management stuff the new YAMS for Revolution or there is another plug-in that does what YAMS does on Evolution?

Internationalizing a component and the manager is what lexicons are intended for; YAMS is a multi-lingual site solution for Evo. If folks want to port YAMS to Revo, great, but there is no official approach to implementing a multi-lingual site in Revo, and probably will not ever be a single generic solution. There are many ways to implement multi-lingual sites on MODx in general, and Revo is no exception.

Do you know of any other solutions for multi-lingual sites besides making a resource tree for every language for Rev?
