TinyMCE Insert/Edit Image

I have my Resource URL setting set to ’/assets/’ and my Resource path set to ’/assets’. When I use the TinyMCE insert/edit image icon to insert an image the path shows up correctly in the popup screen ’/assets/images/icon04.png’ but when I press insert the url changes to a relative url which is incorrect: ’../../images/icon04.png’ and it also adds unneeded code: ’mce_src=’sameurlasregularsrc’.

Is there any way to get the path to stick without having TinyMCE attempt to change it to a relative url? Also, can the additional code that is generated be removed?

One other bug I’ve been noticing. Alot of times the save button doesn’t seem to work for TinyMCE content. I’m not talking about the save button being grayed-out, which is easily fixed by inserting a space somewhere. It seems like the only time the save button works for TinyMCE content is the first couple updates that I make when I come to the page. What ends up happening is that I’ll see my content but it won’t show up on the site when I press save. Then, when I navigate to another resource and come back the content is no longer there (only the content that wouldn’t save is missing, the original content and whatever else I’m able to save still remains).

Any ideas on this one?

Unfortunately, this is a noted bug that has not been fixed yet. TinyMCE content will only save the first time you hit save. If you make additional changes and save again, it doesn’t take. You are required to reload the page. IMHO, this is the single biggest bug in Revo and I hope it’s fixed soon!

Just thought I’d let you know - the latest SVN version of Revo includes an option for CKeditor which has a nicer interface and it works on every save. I haven’t tested TinyMCE in latest SVN - it may be fixed there as well, but I like the look of CKeditor better anyway, so I’ll probably stick with that unless I run into problems.
