I tried moving the MODx core on the standard beta-5.
I first installed with everything in the default locations and everything looked fine.
Then I moved the core to c:/core, modified config.core.php in the setup/includes directory and did an upgrade install. Everything went fine, but now I get the login screen with just the two fields side-by-side and no styling and can’t log in.
Do I need the "Advanced" version to move the core?

Close. I had already tried that (editing the config.core.php in the connectors dir.), but I forgot to manually clear the cache after doing so.
