[Solved] Error Using Snippets in ModX Revolution Beta5

Hi,

everytime I try to use a Snippet in my ModX-Installation there occurs an Error on the Site:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’.’, expecting ’(’ in /Folder_To/core/model/modx/modscript.class.php(89) : eval()’d code on line 1

Coudl anyone help me to figure out what’s going wrong?

What’s one of the Snippets you’re using?

I’ve tried with wayfinder and also an own helloWorld-Snippet.

Now I know what was wrong:
I tried setting up a multi-domain Installation using contexts (http://www.h-quadrat.com/techblog/93-modx-revolution-multi-domain-context-installation.php). But using special-chars in the contextnames like "domain.tld" as name causes the error. I did a new installation of modX Revolution and tried with different contextnames and now it seems to work.

Looks like this is because Revolution Snippets and Plugins are written to cache files that contain functions which represent these scripts, and the function name is constructed with the context key as a prefix. I have updated branches/2.0 in SVN (see http://svn.modxcms.com/crucible/changelog/modx/?cs=6271) to validate that all Context key values are valid PHP identifiers, starting with an alpha character and containing only alphanumerics with no underscores (these were being removed on create previously).
