[Solved] Fatal ERROR on upgrade from beta-4 to beta-5

I was sucessfully testing locally on a WAMP installation the beta 4. Now, afer copying all files from the new beta 5 and after perfoming the setup procedure without any problem the following error is present:

Fatal error: Cannot access protected property xPDOQuery_mysql::$sql in C:\wamp\www\modx-2.0.0-beta-4\core\xpdo\xpdo.class.php on line 1460

I have no idea how to overcome this problem. any ideas?

Apache Version : 2.2.11
PHP Version : 5.3.0
MySQL Version : 5.1.36

This was a new bug in beta-5 that has already been fixed in SVN; turn off cache_db option in the system settings table and remove your core/cache/config.cache.php file and all should be ok. Or you can get the latest SVN snapshot from branches/2.0 where this is currently fixed.

I’ve had the same thing but I needed to remove the config.cache.php file.
