After Clicking the "install" button, the server works for about 10 seconds, then I get this message ion the screen:

I checked all server requirements, no conflicts! I looked into the logfile, and it says a lot of things:

You noticed that beta-5 was out today? Do the problems persist with that version?

Yes, same problem with beta-5!

Please provide what distribution you are using, the steps you took to install, etc. It would also be helpful to know the MySQL server version in addition to the MySQL client version which you indicated was 5.0.32.
