disappearing templates?

Hi guys,

I’m brand new to modx, so you’ll have to forgive me here. I’m playing around running 1.0.2 alongside 2.0 beta 4 on my laptop. I figure I may as well start learning revo now. Anyway, I’ve created a couple of templates in revo and I can’t find them anywhere. They appear in the manager fine, but I have no idea where they’re stored so that I can add my css and images and stuff.

In my 1.0.2 install, all templates and their subfolders are easy to find in the templates folder right where they’re supposed to be and it all works fine.

Am I losing my mind here? Any assistance is really appreciated!

What would you like to do?
If you want to edit template’s code (like inserting <script>, <style>, <img> tags), then go to "Elements" tab (left menu), unfold "Templates" list item and find a template you need. Click it and you’ll be presented with that template’s attributes, one of them being its body.
If you want to upload scripts, styles, images or anything onto server, choose "Files" tab, choose where you want new file to be and then right-click it to show context menu with "Add" option. You can also create any directory hierarchy there.

Revo does not come with any built-in templates or documents, nor with any preconceived notions of where files should be stored. So you can put them wherever you like; just make sure to reference their locations in the template links according to wherever you do decide to put them.

Thanks to the both of you! I guess I was looking for something like an assets/templates folder already in place.
