User Authentication (WebLoginPE etc.)

Hi,

Is user authentication done differently in Revolution? That’s one aspect of modx I’ve never understood very well. Is there any good documentation on exactly how to create/login/logout users properly through php? This is important for integrating with other authentication systems and I’ve never really found good docs on it.
