Apologies if this has already been reported, or if there’s a solution I haven’t managed to find.
I’m running a nice fresh installation of 2.1.3pl and one of the first things I decided to do this time around is actually use ’quick create’ to knock out the first list of pages. Upon doing so it became apparent that the resource tree collapses when the page refreshes after saving. I tried the normal document create method and the tree succesfully maintains it’s previous state.
During this initial session I’ve also had a few problem with my session suddenly disppearing and I’ve had to log in again a few times. I presume this is unrelated, and I don’t partcularly like the server I’m running on at present - it’s rather sluggish a lot of the time. I also presume this performance issue isn’t to blame for the resource tree collapse because it’s quite consistently related to ’quick create’.
Is there a way to prevent the tee collapsing all the time, or is this a bug?
Ok it might turn out that this isn’t consistent at all, and possibly performance related.
I’ve just tested again by ’quick creating’ a document inside an existing document, thus promoting it to a container, and the resource tree did NOT collapse. But upon quick creating another ROOT document the tree collapsed.
Could it be that quick creating root documents causes the resource tree to collapse?

Indeed, it seems to be a bug when using Quick Create on Context roots. Can you please enter a bug report for this issue so it does not get lost here in the forums?
Done. But for some reason I had to do it under a different username because the redmine wouldn’t let me log on with this account.
Also, the reset password proceedure resulted in a refreshed login page and no confirmation email or anything.
