[SOLVED] Manager Not fully loading all resources

After a clean install of Revo 2.1.2-pl on a lighttpd server with PHP 5.3, MySql 5.x the Manager page only loads the main area Modx News, Security Notices, Recent Documents, Info, and Online without any applied layout. The resources, elements, and Files frame is not even visible.

I get four JS errors, see attachment, and that’s about it nothing is working.

I’ve completely cleared browser cache, delete site cache files (/core/cahce/) and still no change.

Any suggestions or pointers to checkout?

So it was a simple fix in the end... my rewrite rules were trying to rewrite the "core" and "connector" folders vs. ignoring them.

I am having this exact same problem. However, I have no re-write rules other than what’s in the standard .htaccess file. I can’t seem to get this resolved whatsoever. Any suggestions?

I’ve just hit upon this exact same problem while moving a MODx install, it seems to work fine on one server but not on another. Any ideas gratefully received!

My issues was the rewrite rules did not account for the Revo folder structure of "/core" and "/connectors" as static elements, thus the rewrite would throw up the page not found since it was being treated as a friendly URL.

If that isn’t the case then double check your permissions on the folders, and run the installer again (note: make sure you make the correct selections to not overwrite any existing data).

I downloaded a fresh copy of MODx (2.0.8) and copied that over the top of the site and then ran the installer. Even though I was already running 2.0.8, so there wasn’t any upgrade required, that resolved the issue so I’m happy!
