[SOLVED] ACCESS POLICY: CONTENT EDITOR (can't add images in TinyMCE???)

So my client just told me he doesn’t have access to add images within the TinyMCE rich text editor.

So I’m trying enable this feature in the Access Policy ’Content Editor’ which is one of the preset policies in modx revo. (nevermind how dumb it is that a "content editor" can’t add content... I’m sure this is just a minor oversight due to the complexity of the permissions system... oh and when I say dumb I say then out of fun, no disrespect... maybe I am the one who is dumb haha)

I’m looking at all of these properties... some of them make sense... others seem vague and confusing as to what will actually happen when I enable them for my client. I’ve searched the official documentation... looked on the forums ... and I can’t find anything that explains all of these specific permissions.

Can anyone help me enable adding images for the Content-Editor access policy? Or point me to a list of these specific permissions available in modx revo that explains what they actually do when enabled?

UPDATE:

The solution is to enable the following permissions in the ’Content Editor’ Access Policy:
’file_list’
’file_manager’
’file_update’
’file_upload’
’file_view’

and to limit the resource browser / file manager to the /assets/ directory set file_manager_path = /assets/ in the ’site settings’

*note: it’s called ’resource browser’ in the backend interface but in the site settings ’file manager’ settings affect the resource browser... I’m not even really sure what the difference is between the ’resource browser’ and the ’file manager’ hehe

Having similar issues here myself.... When the client tries to add a new image - the file browser is empty - they can upload an image but can not pick it as the file manager is empty... any ideas?

See if clearing the cache makes them show up.
