I was inserting an IE 7 CSS hack into the head tag and didn’t close out the comment properly. Of course, basically everything in the head tag was commented out and the site broke. I quickly saw what was happening and went to go back into the chunk and fix it, only now when I try to edit that chunk, I get a completely blank white page. I can edit every other chunk just fine, and the fix was to copy the commented out code via "view source," paste it into a new chunk, comment it correctly, and call the new chunk. But why can’t I edit the old chunk and how do I get to it?

You can still edit the chunk - control click (on OS X) or right click on the chunk in the tree on the right - this will bring up a menu, chose Quick Update Chunk and it will pop up a box in which you can edit the chunk. Close the comment and you will be able to edit the chunk again in the ’normal’ way.
I find myself using this Quick Update more frequently since it lives up to its name and one can edit something without exiting what you are working on or opening yet another tab.
