White screen when editing chunk - solved, but a bug?

Revo 2.1.2 OS 10.6.8 Safari 5.05

editing a chunk I started to write a comment but did not close it, but did save it.
went off to find the information to finish the comment, got side tracked...

Later I tried to edit the chunk and the screen was just white!

There is a work around - control click on the chunk name in the tree and choose Quick Update Chunk, close that pesky comment, and save and everything works again!

Can’t reproduce that here. Are you using a syntax highlighting plugin for editing Chunks?

No syntax highlighting

Also reported here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,66675.0/topicseen.html by some one else.

I just tried it again

add "<!--" to a chunk
save - all looks OK,
click on the chunk name in the tree to the left and voila a white screen.
