Hi,
today I got message from my server provider that I used 145% of allowed CPU time (that equals 22 Terra instructions of CPU) in 24 hours.
My webpage is not online for public access yet, so I used all by "myself".
I dont know where problem could be but I am suspecting QUIP...
Any solution?
Not sure if I’m having the same issue, but since I installed 2.1.2., my sites that are setup in 2.1.x are REALLLLY sluggish compared to the ones in 2.0.x and earlier. In just now checking for extras, some of the 2.1.x sites have NO extras installed yet, just base vanilla installs, so I don’t think it is an Extra that is tacking on cpu time. The sluggishness occurs equally in the manager as it does in the public facing site, which too seems to throw suspicion away from added features that the manager doesn’t use straight from the box.

In all of our tests, 2.1 is immensely faster and less CPU intensive than it’s predecessors. If you can provide environment information and other details we may be able to help you diagnose your issue( s ).
I dont feel any slowdown during the viewing webpage or working in manager...
I have installed these packages:
formit, getpage, getresources, tinymce,quip, simplesearch,translit...
Simple unistalling of all these packages I used 3 % of my allowed CPU Time (100% means warning, 200% server will disable my webpage)
What other information do you need?
UPDATE: (dont have any installed package at this moment) I made change in 3 chunks and this used 2% of my allowed CPU time
2.1 brought huge improvements to CPU load. I recognized much less load than before. CPU load is high when installing packages (lot in batch) or when batch processing in general.
Ok, I take the package installation, but editing chunks?????
Hadn’t had any problems while editing. What server environment do you have? Seems to be not a good one for me.
Maybe clearing cache helps (empty /core/cache)?
