Reorder template variables in Resource Editor

Sorry to hit the forum with a blizzard of threads today....

Is template variable reording working in Revolution? I have tried changing both the "sort order" field under the variable itself and the "rank" field on the template variables tab of the template editor, but I am unable to affect the order in which they appear.

I have cleared cache several times, just in case.

Am I missing something?

I don’t think this is implemented. I believe they appear in the order in which you create them, but I haven’t tested to make sure.

Thanks - not quite what I wanted to hear, but answers my question . Is there a bug report or feature request extant, to your knowledge?

There might be, but I can’t remember for sure. You can go to the Bugs & Requests link at the top of this page and do a search. You can vote for it if you find it and to enter it if it’s not there.

I couldn’t find a bug already filed, so I filed one here. Anyone who cares about this issue, please vote

Wow! Shaun shows fixing the bug this morning in 2.0.1-pl. I tried to copy-paste the solution into my 2.0.0-pl, but no joy. Guess I will have to upgrade. That’s some turnaround time!

He must be really busy. I’ve seen him fix things in less than an hour.
