I’ve been a long time MODxer, Evo did this perfectly. You could restrict access for the filemanager to certain areas.

There is a setting to change where your default filemanager / resource browser points to. However in practice, when you go to add in a photo or something, the paths are not prefixed with /assets/images or whatever is required for them to work int he real world. Am I missing something? I’ve kept quiet thinking it would be fixed sooner or later. Am I the only one? Off my Rocker? Missing some obvious fix?

They are prefixed on output in the front-end - in the manager, they are not prefixed, so as not to expose the whole paths to a client/user that doesn’t need to see them.

You need to set filemanager_url to "assets/" and filemanager_url_relative to Yes.

Thanks. Turns out there were some very similarly named system settings. I had to re-read your last response and compare my settings 3 times before I caught it.

            Love the forums.

Nothing to see here, problem solved, move along.
