'site name' does not refresh

I have 2.1.1 (Traditional) installed on XAMPP Lite for Windows 1.7.3 on Vista. I’ve made at least 10 sites with Revo’s previous versions. In this one though, for some reason, the displayed site name does not refresh. I change it in System Settings, then clear the cache, click Home or just refresh the Manager page and nothing happens. The system setting is fine, it shows the desired value. Still, the Manager seems to be stuck with the old one. Has anyone encountered this before?

Upgraded to 2.1.3 and the issue is still present. Very annoying... The manager login window also displays the wrong string. Any ideas anyone?

Everywhere basically... The manager login window, the top left corner of the manager window, even in web context when referencing it with The strange thing is, when checking it in System settings, it's the new, desired value.

That's strange... have a look at core/cache/system_settings/config.cache.php and see what value is present for site_name.

Yep, it had the old value... Thanks, I modified it manually, but it still seems weird, it should have been overwritten.

Check the permissions on that file, does it update when you change other settings too?
