Thanks so much! I got it working. It all depended on "&toPlaceholder=`gallery`" - now, all thumbnail pictures are linked to a larger version of themselves.
Thanks guys!
It was a combination of 2 issues. One issue was what wildcat mentioned and the second was I found that colorbox also needed jquery referenced as well. I referenced the latest build of jquery and all works now!
Hopefully this post helps someone along the way.
Thanks again!

Hi there, I have a bit different question about the Gallery for Revolution..
Is there any way to have a seperate page for each image of a gallery? Or even more, could somehow implement commenting (Quip) on each of that page (image)?
I decided to choose Revolution for my new project, now i’m stuck with that gallery, and thinking to move back to evolution....
Thanks!

I recently ran into this problem, I wanted to use the galleriffic plugin to make an animated banner and change the way it looks etc so after some searching I found
this tutorial that shows you how to make your own custom gallery by editing the main gallery template.
Hope this gets you on the right track, Good Luck.
Hi have also been trying the above for ages to integrate this and get it working with colorbox, any help would be most appreciated.. thanks.
also has anyone had any luck integrating with slimbox? if so please share... have also tried this to no avail.
this lines here seems to be throwing up the errors:
$("a[rel=’galerie’]").colorbox();
