I was dreaming earlier today about having macros in the Manager with (as long as we’re dreaming) a php-like macro language, macro recorder, and macro editor.

Reminds me of a book I got when I was playing with A86 assembly, on using assembly language macros as a higher-level language. The book was based on creating such a macro-language called "Chuck", after the author’s cat. That was fun.
If you use firefox, check out
iMacros. It can work with with ajax and js and probably works in Revolution interface too..
