Is it common to have a handful of parser errors in the system log? I am trying to chase down a problem that random images are getting deleted from the file system. What is more puzzling, the images that are getting deleted aren’t even in the /assets/images/ directory. They are site files (background images etc) that I moved to /assets/img/ in an effort to keep the images directory clean for the client. I don’t think they are related but...

Yes, the system log is used to log errors caused by misbehaving snippets, plugins and modules, so there can be quite a long list of these errors.
