Great Article on Design Styles in Application/Web.

I am posting this here because I don’t want to have the appearance of implying anything in the public fora but this was a greally great article about application design styles from UIE:

Good article indeed. I think that the designers/developers I know will mostly use the genius method and rely on previous experience.

But seriously, this is a brilliant look at the various styles that can be employed, and a great conclusion. It’s also very timely, and will be contributing to our emerging development methodologies at collabpad. Thanks for posting it.

I’ve been reading about UI/UX and application interface/action design as a result of the myriad of comments about the Revo UI best practices thread. I felt the only way to add to the solution was to learn as much as I could instead of just suggesting elements based solely on opinion or personal aesthetic ideas.

I’ll post some more UI/UX design articles as they come forward.
