Is there a policy / guideline for international MODx communities?

We (me and a few other Brazilian users) are discussing starting a Brazilian MODx community. I remember reading that there were plans concerning international communities and the new marketing site. Is there anything I should consider?

Our plan is to use a local .com.br domain (you need to have a company in Brazil to register a domain). modxcms.com.br is already taken and modx.com.br also is taken . So we are thinking of going with modxbrasil.com.br (in Portuguese you spell brasil with an s rahter than a z). We also plan on using the existing Portuguese board as the forum (we are not expecting a huge community at first).

Anyway, is there anything in the future plans for the MODx site that I may want to consider before we start this project?

Definitely an area that we’re planning addressing, but nothing concrete yet. Keep us up to date with your contacts!
