Streamlining the 096-Evolution installer

    Okay, I’m opening myself up to another volunteer gig here but I’ve been thinking about simplifying the user experience with the installer.

    Susan has pointed out that we can forgo the GPL agreement so could we not get it down to three views for a flawless instal/?

    1. Welcome/Setup/Information forms
    2. Options Select/Sample Data
    3. Success

    With this I wonder if only adding a return if there is an error.

    People need few messages and friendly errors with solutions if something goes wrong. I much prefer interfaces that complete the desired action or return a message if something is wrong otherwise it wastes my time.

        Evolution installer is definitely up for simplification, and matching the site design of the new marketing site. wink
