0.9.6.2 Release

The last release 0.9.6.2 don’t include the last version of AjaxSearch 1.8. Is it still possible to correct that ?

We would need to do a thorough demo content cleaning and update in order to include it I believe. I’m not opposed to an 0.9.6.3 release for such purpose, including updated language translations for the manager and installer. Maybe even some RTL updates in the manager as appropriate.

Right now my main focus is on the new marketing site which is coming along quite nicely and the Evolution release.

Lot of the posts from AS board are now linked with the version 1.8. And lot of parameters don’t exist in the version 1.7.1.
So, I am pretty sure to get lot of useless questions from new MODx users, until to understand that they use the previous version.

I think the SVN structure is going to change a bit soon, but it looks like a couple of other issues have cropped up that merit a 0963 release, AS being one of them (see the 0962 release thread).

Could you handle updating the demo content to work with AS 1.8.x and get it into SVN for the almost-certain-to-be-coming-soon 0.9.6.3. release?

Notice any other resources that could be updated (or removed!)?

I’ve been meaning to add the MySQL server version to the system info display, along with the charset information.

I see that a database version check has been added to the installation on the Pre-install validation page.

I thought the installation page requiring the acceptance of the license was going to be removed, since the GPL does not require such a thing?

Would love to see that added to the system info page indeed Susan, thanks. Would be neat to have it so that you could automatically copy the relevant info to the clipboard too for troubleshooting posts in the forums too.
