Nomination for Packt Pub Award : Last day !

I don’t know where we are on this subject but I remember before I left for vacation that we asked people to hold of on nominating MODx for packt until branding was updated... I just realized that it’s the last day to nominate the candidates for the Award

Do we need to hit the panic button and ask for a massive nominating effort today ? ? ?

I’ll be honest and say that we missed the opportunity this year. Revolution is not ready to go up as best up & coming, and I think Evolution would need to be ready in order to even respectably compete in the main categories where Drupal and Joomla! will obviously trump us based on community size. IMHO, we should just patiently watch this year and prepare for winning again next year.

Now that you say it, it makes sense, especially since we won "Most promising" last year, we shouldn’t aim for anything but a chance to win the best up & coming or be in final 3 for best open source CMS. We all we have potentially in store for next year, it’s going to be exciting

I agree with passing Packt by. We’ll wow em in the mean time. Lets get Evo out the door and Revo into Beta and through to RC and out. We can go from most promising to Top 3 for next year.
