WTF and No File Descriptions.

Yay on the alpha release!!!

Just one point and I don’t know if I missed it but there don’t seem to be any description files to go with the dowloads. Is this planned. I think that the similarity between other dl sites like SF would or PHP Classes would be helpful. It could be because you were pushing to get it out but I am not sure on the files contents etc. Any thoughts?

This is just temporary until we complete the new download repository that will have the new transport package provider service (a.k.a. Web Transport Facility) built in, along with new submission forms, etc. I imagine what will happen is as we roll out the new web site, wtf will be repurposed as the home for my Web Transport Facility Extension and the actual MODx Core, Add-On, and Extension downloads will be available from downloads.modxcms.com. The WTF will itself be distributed as a package for others to use for anything from building distribution sites for their own add-ons to constructing development workflow systems that can allow remote deployment of updates from another MODx (i.e. dev or staging) site.

I must not be very mature since I laugh when I see ’WTF’...I just can’t get the ’other’ meaning out of my head. I need to grow up
