Everyone with an SVN account should now have single sign-on access to our new team infrastructure, courtesy of Atlassian Software. The new resources include JIRA for issue tracking, Confluence for our official wiki, the new versions of Fisheye for changeset and source browsing and Crucible for team code reviews, Crowd for centralized identity management, all sitting on top of our existing subversion repository.

Please note, you won’t all have user accounts or permissions to all systems yet. We have various team members working to get everything setup initially. If you have time, and would like to help us get initial issues and documentation up, please let us know so we can get you a user account and/or proper privileges in the appropriate application.

I especially would like to see some volunteers for the wiki; and lot’s of discussion on how to organize and start managing content there.

      Thanks Jason and Victor!

Having a bit of inside info on what’s been transpiring behind the scenes to make this happen all I can say is that it’s been a huge effort that will pay off in droves in the future. It was not an insignificant undertaking and I appreciate all the extra effort and banging of heads.

          *bump*

This is really needed - if you want to contribute but don’t feel like you can do the code contributions, populating the wiki is an excellent way to get your feet wet in 0.9.7 and Confluence (the wiki).

To start out, we’ve separated the wiki into 4 distinct "spaces" (how Confluence structures itself). The spaces are:

          • MODx 0.9.7
          • MODx 0.9.6 - All old wiki stuff should go here
          • MODx Add-Ons - This will be the wiki for any MODx Add-Ons added.
          • [li]MODx Extensions - Extensions are scripts/packages that modify and extend the new MODx core. (an example is a way to hook the modx userdata into LDAP)

If you would like to contribute docs to any/all of the sections, please let us know so we can get you started. This will be the face of MODx documentation, and we want it to be thorough and vast; so let’s get going on it!

No. Just official projects sponsored by the core team. I want to setup an incubation process by which we will incorporate add-on (or extension) projects that become official projects.
