Wow, thanks for the warm welcomes. It is a great privilege for me to be able to be part of this team. I look forward to this challenge and responsibility with enthusiasm and hope to be able to contribute in a positive way.
I am not an expert at any one thing, being a jack-of-all-trades has kept me from dedicating myself to a specific interest. I do like to read and currently my favorite subjects are css and php (and MODx of course).
Here is a brief bio:
My name is Shane Sponagle, I am a US ex-pat living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I was brought up both in the US and in Brazil so I am fluent in both cultures. I have a dog, a 12 year old beagle named Mack. I am a partner in a two person design/development firm called S/2M2 Design (our website is so outdated that it is embarrassing, last updated in 2004, anyway here it is
http://www.s2m2.com , a new site is in development but has been stalled for a few months). Previous to web work I worked as a recording engineer both in San Francisco and here in Rio. I did some college in northern California where I studied an eclectic mixture of classes ranging from organic farming to design and eventually dropped out. Eventually I made it back to Rio, met a girl on the beach and have been here since.
