As a newbie first-timer I have just installed modx 2.0.0 on my remote site, using Softaculous (went sweet as a nut - no problems apparently), in a subdomain at
http://subdomain.mydomain.org.uk/modx/ but I can’t get the login page. First time it was blank, then after going through the installation documentation here, I uploaded a fresh config.inc.php, in case Softaculous had done something wrong with that, and changed permissions (php.ini was OK). Now all I get, whatever permissions are set, is the error message:
Fatal error: Class ’xPDOQuery_’ not found in /home/kcg1978/public_html/kcguild/modx/core/xpdo/xpdo.class.php on line 1858
I can get to the subdomain where I see cgi-bin and modx folders listed (there are no files present) and can click on modx and get the same error message. Could it be that modx just doesn’t want to be in a folder in a subdomain? Or something to do with "false directory-unwriteable report"? Any ideas as to how to get this working?
