I know this might seem futile, since there is so much to do to help fund MODx development, but I have caught myself thinking that I’d like to give a few bucks to some contributors for their work on such or such snippets, module or plugin which have helped me a great deal.
My thought therefore was why not set up a donation link, or better yet an Amazon wishlist link and add it to the repository ?
Again, I know this might seem unimportant compared to ensuring MODx future, and I sure don’t mean that gift cover the countless hours of writing up the code but it can give a sense of appreciation (?).
Wouldn’t it be a nice thing ? especially the Amazon wishlist thingy, it’s more personnal and I guess people are more likely to use it than give $ here and there (imagine if Maxigallery users gathered to buy Doze a PS3
)
