Interesting SharePoint components

I thought these were pretty interesting (found off an Adsense Ad no less!) and we might think about "packaging" things this way in the future: http://store.bamboosolutions.com/

Indeed, quite an interresting and readable way to display available components, if that’s presentation and not content we’re talking about (did not read the contents nor look into those sharepoint components...) !

No comment on SharePoint or MS but yes bS, we are working diligently to get not only a way to package sets of related components, but we’ll even be packaging them so they can take advantage of the various db platforms we will soon be supporting without having to create a separate package for each db platform. Ultimately, I want a mootools like download for MODx and it’s addons where you can pick and choose specific pieces of a package to combine into an installable distribution. Lot’s of news on this within the next two weeks, as we finish up 0.9.5 and prepare to shift focus to the new core...

i can’t wait

with jot i already did my best to seperate the database specific code to a seperate class file with this in mind.
