Successful update?

I'm curious who successfully upgraded to the latest version and what "bottlenecks" if any you experienced.

Updated to what software? I'm assuming you're talking about MODx ...

There are some minor issues with the current Tech Preview, but all in all its the best version to date. Upgrades seem to work really well, too.

Tech Preview 2 will continue to build upon this. Check out the bug report forum for more info of what's going to be in it.

I've had no problems upgrading three servers, two remote and one local; the fourth is a problem because it's a live site with a number of custom modifications to the core. The only reason I want to upgrade it is for the improvements to the Manager interface (and Firefox 1.0.3 doesn't like the javascript buttons), so I'll probably just leave it alone (and keep a copy of Firefox 1.0.2 just for working with that site!).

No problems with two upgrades I've done; I have two live sites that were previously running Etomite 0.6 with the MODx2 RC2 extensions; I upgraded both of these sites to the Tech Preview 1 release without any issue. Check this thread for links... http://vertexworks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=224

I indeed meant upgrading from Etomite 0.6 with MODx2 RC2 extensions to the latest release. I'll wait for the next release as I noticed that the people who did so are very conversant with PHP.

You should definitely have no problem upgrading, but then again I heard a rumor that another release was right around the corner sometime next week.

I hope that the rumour is true and thus wait until next week
