File and image browser : what about imanager and ibrowser integration ?

FCK Image and ressource browser not being the sexiest thing on earth, I was wandering the web and tinyMCE’s forum in search of a GPLed alternative (that plus FCK configuration problem in some hosting environment image manager doesn’t seem to work...). Also, I was wondering where we were on the "custom resource browser" idea I had read about a while back on the forums ?

Anyway, I found an image and resources manager that is compatible with several Editors : FCKeditor, SPAW, tinyMCE, and Xinha...
Maybe it’s old news to you guys, and I know there are many things cooking right now, but still one day we’ll have to get rid of FCK as default editor...

Never come across them before, looking quite smart from the short while I’ve played with them.

The support for the different RTE’s is definitely a plus point, and seems to have plenty of functionality packed in there.

On top of this, it seems that mmjaeger is a member of the MODx community ! I just noticed this while seing his name in the connected users list...

I remember that I talked to him once, and it seems that he want to incorporate the system into MODx, but so far I haven’t heard anything back from hiim yet though.

Btw, having this guy in the team/contribute on the core code will be awesome (becoming a file/image manager specialist ).

I tested the system it works great but its very slow

and it still hase some bugs in it

I’m pretty sure it could be optimised - and is definitely a sound base to work from.

Has anybody had any luck tracking down the elusive mmjaeger?

mmjaeger is an etomite memeber just pm him there i did it lots of times while testing this software

I also know that he is not the brain behind the system but a coworker/friend of him does the hard coding.
