Ignore Boards mod ?

Sorry to bring this up again, but where are we on this ?

Local communities are more active and we have many languages flying around the "What’s been going on ?" page and it might get pretty annoying when we reach cruising speed for each local communities

What do you think ?

Ignore boards is not compatible with Googlebots & Spiders, which is already part of our build. Until this changes or someone will make it work for a fee (I’d happily pay for it), this is a no go unfortunately.

Just out of morbid curiousity, how does the mod mess with google bot and other spiders? From what I read here, it’s a complete server side change that’s transparent to a client unless they set certain settings:

But I am sure I am wrong. Just curious why.

LOL... that’s the Ignore Boards mod that’s not compatible with Googlebots & Spiders, which uses the same variable names as the Googlebots and Spiders mod.

So if the variable names were changed, it wouldn’t have a problem?

Actually, they both use a table column that’s been added to SMF and the table name needs to be changed (preferably in Ignore Boards, since Googlebot is the one currently installed). But yes.
