Customized Revo Manager? Moving and hiding menu items...

I’m sure this has been done, but I can’t find it... anyone have tips or plugins etc. that might help me customize the manager for a site? Basically, I want to simplify the manager and optimize it for a particular user role -- I want to make it easier for them to find certain menu items.

Any suggestions?

There is a built in functionality in the manager:

Also, see System -> Actions and Menus. You can give each menu item a Permission, allowing you to effectively "restrict" top menu items to users.
