Modx Evo 1.04 Document limitation

I was wondering what is the document limitation for Modx Evo. And is it hard to upgrade a Evo site to rev site?

stargatesg1,

have a look at this thread: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,18872.msg289674.html#msg289674

IS there going to be a upgrade tool that will upgrade EVO to REV?

The document limit is round 5-6,000 pages depending on the server. If I recall correctly this limit also stands with Revolution, but it’s per context allowing you to divide the site up some.

At some point in the future there will be a migration tool, until then the provisioner add on works well as a starting point. Personally I would just duplicate the content table and change it to the revolution formatting (add three rows). You can just copy it over and should be all set to go. The trick is items such as Jot don’t have a migration path at this point in time, but with enough work it can be done.
