rev 3787 install bug

For some reason I can’t log in to the new bugtracking system.

Anyway, on line 19 of connection.databasetest.php this line won’t work (results in a failure to connect/create the database)

The $conn parameter of mysql_select_db is in the wrong place... should be

DNS on the server was offline this morning due to a major DNS software update which was pushed out early this morning. It came back online, just about the time you posted this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As for the bug, if someone could get that committed today, I’d like to get RC2 out before the sun goes down here.

No, I meant that I can’t log in... I haven’t had a correct user/password for a while now; I’ve just been too lazy to do anything about it.

I love it when I find silly little typos like this, it makes me feel a lot better about my own trial-and-error method of coding

Susan, you mean there are coders who aren’t guided by trial-and-error?

So did you use the forgot password link? Your username has always been the same, sottwell...

Like I said, lazy... Of course, I’m always in the middle of something else when I find a bug, and I do tend to focus rather tightly on whatever I’m doing at the moment. I’ll go do that right now, since I’m not doing much of anything at the moment.

Given your prodigious output, I find that rather hard to believe.

*Bump* just a reminder that this has already been patched in the SVN since it came up in the forum.

Question: What is needed to release 0962? I have been using it on my last few projects and it has been working without any problems.

I think the biggest holdup on 0962 is fixing the context menu in Fx 3, which is borked. There’s lots of other bugs that I’ve got logged to follow up on but there always will be. Time to release!
