Modx 0.9.6.2 is up to next ... with some testing efforts and contributions

To deliver a new 0.9.6.2 version we need to solve some remaining issues. And this need some testing effort. So thanks for your contribution.

Go to http://modxcms.com/bugs/ and help us to move on the status of these trouble sheets. As soon we have corrected these last issues, we can definitely close the flyspray repository and deliver the awaited version 0.9.6.2

#956 : Resource Broswer setting wrong chmod on new folders

I did some testing and this is what I was able to get. Should I enter this stuff in the original bug reports or do we not want to use fly anymore?

#1036 : strip_image_paths needs to be editable when no editor is selected
I was unable to confirm this, with me the path saved to the db was only the rb_base_dir not including the url. I tested this with the editor/browser on and off and got the same results in both instances.

#870 - JavaScript Error with WebLogin
I did not get this error, may be a browser specific issue. Would like to make the focus optional since it causes problems on long pages

Researching :

#745 : Site switched to UTF8 but mail send in iso-8859-1
I tested this to be false on my install, email was sent the same as the site settings using eForm/phpmailler.

#892 : Upgrading: 0.9.5 -> 0.9.6 Snippets upgraded regardless of whether ticked
The solution provided in the bug report works for me. It seems that the variables are not set correctly

#956 : Resource Broswer setting wrong chmod on new folders
As the answer stated this can be set in the File Manager settings. These settings will work for both the file manager as well as the resource browser

I continue to use Flyspray to comment the test results. As soon all these tests have been executed, we will close them when completed.

I will update the list in the message below only to communicate on the remaining tasks.

If you’re actively looking into something mark it reasearching. When it appears to be fixed go ahead and mark it as completed ... I almost want to go ahead and close them out in fact. My experience has been that few people have taken the time to follow up when requested. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if you closed out bugs that have been marked as completed and confirmed to no longer exhibit the behaviors.

In short, feel free to err on the side of closing and if we miss a few then they can be re-opened in JIRA. Don’t worry about asking for permission; treat it as your own.
