"No user returned!" error/info upon creating new user in manager

MODx 0.9.6.1p2 (rev 3281)

Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.30 OpenSSL/0.9.8b

MySql 5.x

When I create a new user in manager, it gives me the error:

"No user returned"

But if i goto users list, i can see the new user created.

Can anyone test if this is a bug or something?

I’ll bet anything it’s running 5.0.51 which is a bug in and of itself.

Ok, how can I determine the mysql version from phpinfo? is there any way?

I could look into this (is that what you are saying?) but I am not confident that I could do this since I have only recently built up the courage to look under the hood and my php skills are a bit rusty. However, the install is the one part that I have looked at more and have a bit of an understanding. The idea is to have a warning if the user is using 5.0.51 or strict mode. Well this function easily returns the version, now how to know if it is in strict mode? Maybe a query to get the server settings...humm time to hit the manuals.
