Here is the complete edited file, may be easier to just drop it in for testing

Dear all,

I am Japanese moderator.
We created the Japanese language file of the installer.
So we want you to include these files in the next version of MODx.
I attach the files(install_langage_files.zip.zip modxinstallerv2.zip).

The files is the following:
[install]
| - lang.php // remove at 2008.2.17
| - [lang]
| - [japanese-utf8]
| - japanese-utf8.inc.php
| - [images]
| - img_box.png
| - img_splash.gif

These files contain the original picture other than a language file. (img_box.png).
Besides, we corrected lang.php because the picture could not be changed.

P.S.
If I should not contribute here about this, please teach me where I should contribute.

Seems that we could use the installer checking for MySQL strict mode: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,4573.msg33160.html#msg33160

That’s coming up more and more. (And probably a version check for 5.0.51, since it causes all sorts of issues, too.)

Another subject entirely, but is Ditto upgraded to 2.0.3 in 0.9.6.2 : I noticed latest 0.9.6.1B ships with 2.0.2 and it has a reported XSS vulnerability...

Just a reminder not to forget to include 2.0.3 (if not already done).

Better than that it will ship with 2.1 I asked similar Q in another post and the reply was:

Yes, 0.9.6.2 will ship with Ditto 2.1

Do what?! Why is it being distributed then? Shouldn’t that have been patched with everything else. Man I can’t wait to get these components out of the core forever.

Jason, I have grown to appreciate why you want the 3rd Party stuff out of the distros.

Too bad there wasn’t a way in the 0.9.6 releases to have the installer grab current/stables of these from outside the core?
