095 Release Candidate

Alright, I found a small show-stopper that may be causing some hard-to-diagnose issues on RC3 upgrades, though the frequency will be small. It seems that new entries to the system settings table are not being added on upgrade installations. I just upgraded a site from 0.9.1 to RC3 and this was the only issue I’ve found so far.

I’m brainstorming the most practical solution to have the upgrade determine which settings to add. Let me know if you have any ideas...

I found a solution. In addition to a few additional configuration checks from Ryan, several new bug fixes courtesy of Garry, and some more mootools tweaks from Jeff, revision 2076 now will execute INSERT IGNORED INTO the system_settings table on both upgrades and new installations. This will INSERT all settings on new installs, while only INSERTing new records that do not already exist on upgrades. This should work on any MySQL version.

I installed the latest public svn today on a windows machine and got the folloing problems.

1 after a sucsesfull install i get send to /manager and then I get an error that login.html is not present in /httpdocs/manager/media/style/ (I think its looking in the wrong direction?

then I placed the login there just so that I can login it did not work 100% I got a refresh and a popup with this text:
Location:http://www.boerkamp-ae.nl/manager (see image)

this will happen all the time now when i enter /manager/index.php in the url then I get into the manager.
even after saving the settings (got my manager style working after I saved the settings) this problem exist.

another thing is quickedit in FF it looks great in IE it does not hide the backpannel (see image)

and where is the search option that we had befor above the doctree?
