As a german user I also have my difficulties with the charset stuff. I will walk through the bug reports later and combine this with my experience here for a first todo-list. This whole charset thing is somewhat out of my horizon, so what do the cracks think: What is the best way to do this: Store in the database correctly and then convert to entities where necessary for the browser or store entities in the database? I think first choice should be better.
