Quickedit and user settings

I’v edited the DB by adding "allow_manager_access"  and the field:"manager_login_startup" to the "modx_user_settings" table now this option works fine.
but when I want to use quickedit I get send to the login/logout page displayed within the quickedit window. I’v set this user to have administrator rights and only changed the option that it can not acces the manager.

Does the Quickedit module/plugin needs manager acces to funcktion?

login as "nomanager" and try quick edit and you will see what I mean

I am looking into the settings but I do not understand the whole quick edit module and plugin.

I had never tried to log in with a user with no manager access on the manager login page (pretty startling...).

It seems harmless, since you can’t apparently edit anything, even if quickedit shows up... still, that seems inconsistent that a manager can log into the manager while not being able to access anything. Probably, this will get resolved with the unified permissions system that I think is going to replace the current one, i.e no more manager users vs web users.
