IMPORTANT 0.9.2 Release Candidate 1 to be released today unless errors found...

    Please test the attached 0.9.2 files for errors. If none found by end of day, I’m posting these as the official 0.9.2 release to replace the current security patch download, which needs to be removed from distribution ASAP! It’s poison and is very broken.

    PLEASE NOTE: This is only changes through rev 892 which I merged with the 0.9.1 release branch, not including any of the manager themeing changes or any changes dependent on the commits related to the new manager theming. This is mostly to get completed bug fixes and security fixes out the door.

    UPDATE: these are updated files which I built with 7zip using default compression settings -- please verify the integrity of the archives. This still does not have the updated changelog or version information, but I am reserving that commit for a few more hours in case I can get any more feedback on these 0.9.2 files.

        Zip file still isn’t working for me (WinXP), just returns ’Invalid Archive’.

        But, I have installed the tar.gz version and so far haven’t found any issues with the release candidate smiley

            That’s just messed up. Why is it I can’t create zip files compatible with any one else from PowerArchiver or 7zip huh I’ve looked for discussions of problems like this and come up empty. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve never experienced so many pains doing this in my entire life...

                Strange, the package says it’s rev892, 0.9.2... I don’t have MODx Green... I have downloaded Jason’s tar.gz a few minutes ago (should I upload the latest, Ryan ? Edit : Downloaded it, got a corrupt error message with that one sad )...

                I probably missed something there, thought we’d jump straigth to 0.9.5 huh

                Doing an intermediate release finally, till we fix issues with the last SVN rev ?

                And just a detail : installer says version 0.9.1 at top right of screen...

                  David this is just a stopgap interim release as 0.9.2. There’s too many fine points to clean up properly before we can release the 0.9.5, and the bug/security fixes in this are well worth the interim release.

                    OK then my guess was right...

                    I remember this build was working pretty well indeed, I’ll do some more testing with it then, thanks !
