Could you please try what happens on your system if you give FlexSearchForm the following arguments: search-results.html?FSF_offset=ABC&FSF_search=Home
(In case you have no document containing the word "Home", please chose something else.)
On my systems it seems to hang in an endless loop (probably due to the non-numeric offset-argument)...
