[Test Build] MODx 0.9.2 preliminary test versions

Hey Garry, there’s lots of updates that will happen soon on the langage file. Let’s hold off for a few minutes on that one...

And with the latest build we’re now almost feature complete. Added Adam’s manager forgotten-password login plugin and Garryn/Mark’s bulk document manager.

Remaining features:

• Wendy’s multi-site manager modifications. This is really cool and can be very big. Need cases/examples of what we need to do.
• Victor’s bootstrap installer... very close and likewise very cool

The rest are really bugfixes ...

In this build, we need to fix up the accesscontrol.inc.php file as I broke some things pretty well, but nothing major, and we need to style the password reminder link on that page so it’s not hidden behind the support link.

Please test hard and report issues here folks. We’re getting really really close now!

Demo site should be done this weekend. Anyone want anything added? (Be VERY specific please)

Here’s two files for a quick fix to the manager login. Style is for MODxGreen theme. other file needs ".txt" removed and placed in /manager/includes/

could we add the manager user specific language setting hack, if I get this in the bugtracker today?
Hans (Milkyway) is cleaning up and adding coments to it for easy implementing.

Yo ! I mean I didn’t think 0.9.2 would add so many great features that’s crazy cool, I’d need to list them all to do some pre-release teasing (giving away some nuggets here and there ) and then post-release communiqués...

But enough babbling, off to testing !!!

Ryan your access control seems a little different (on win pc) and there’s no more cool button style on login button - have you removed it intentionally?

The style need:
- fix on toolbar
- warning font size
- there’s again a thin line under tree button
- disable coolbutton transparency on empty trash don’t work

There’s a new scriptaculous version 1.6 (I’m testing it these days) we need to update it in 0.9.2 http://script.aculo.us/

I have installed rev910 + fixed accesscontrol and style.css

There seems to still be a problem, le login page’s syles are broken with the default manager theme (see attached jpg).

Just a guess, but would it have something to do with no value for $theme_refresher ? Just a guess, since MODxgreen has a value and default has not...

Other than that, just did a quick tour so far, a small glitch in version number "My MODx Site - MODx 0.9.5-pre (rev 910)". Also, in both themes, tables seem to lack some padding : you can see it on visitor stats, backup manager or manager permission...

In Site > Site Schedule : the main frame doesn’t display titles

Again, bundled NewsListing is still version 4.4 (should be 6.3.3).

ForgotManagerLogin and BottomButtonBar are great plugin additions

I love the DocManager Module (though there is a small typo in Modules > Manage Modules : it reads "Doc Managaer")

I intentionally removed the cool buttons stuff on the manger login and went with plain OS buttons. I did not do the CSS on the default theme in the later files. Someone else will need to do that

I’ve actually already committed the latest Scriptaculous 1.6 stuff too as well as the Ajax Flex Search. Actual content and styles comes next, including other updated snippets.
