One other thing that I’ll be removing from GreenCore is the ability to create Document Groups (DocGroups).
DocGroups will be convert to ordinary user groups with the ability to add roles to at the group level. A Group can be defined as a collection of Users and or other Groups (sub-groups):
GroupB contains (Tim, Paul)
GroupC contains (Karen, Roy)
GroupA contains ( Mary, John, Jane, GroupB, GroupC)
In addition to assigning groups to documents you’ll also be able to assign individual users:
DocumentA can be accessed by (GroupA, Pam, Kim)
This can be interpreted as:
DocumentA can be accessed by (Tim, Paul,Karen, Roy,Mary, John, Jane,Pam, Kim)
Hopefully this will be able to simplify things a bit when combined with Speical Access.
