I’m pleased to let you all know that I think I’ve solved the frame issue once and for all. The next major update to the manager will feature 100% Web 2.0 technology.
Things to look for in GreenCore/BlueLemon:
* Hibernate and Stand By modes - Yes it’s like the desktop you’ve never seen.
* Simple, clean to navigate interface - The BlueLemon theme/layout will make it very simple for you to navigate manager.
* Support of browser back button - Click the back button to load the previously accessed page. This will be am option admin feature.
Cool, that sounds to attract more interest to the new release.
Btw, this is kinda off-topic, any thought about CAS (Central Auth System)? I’ve been looking for this solution, but I haven’t got the whole big picture. Can we run CAS on standard server, or we need to setup a server specialize for that only?

I’m glad you like the ideas. It’s not yet inside MODx/GreenCore. The core is undergoing some major reconstruction. The technology is however being used inside another app that I’m working on and I must say that I’m in love with it:
* No more refresh!
* Errors are trapped and displayed inside the content area or message box.
* Nice looking alert box.
* Post backs are done via Ajax.
* Validations are done via Ajax
* XSS/SQL Injection prevention APIs (includes SafeHTML)
* Clean, manageable interface.
Once the first screen shot is available I’ll post it inside the forum.
