    How about a little script to optimize/repair database in our Manager, I dont know if its hard to do, but it will very handy to do maintainence of the db right from MODx Manager.

      This would be an great idea.

      Mabe some script that see’s if the database entry’s like modules and plugins are up to date? or atleast the one that schould be in the release running on that server?
      if you update now it could be that some data base plugins/modules like qedit are not updated.
      to have a script that looks at the header to see if its up-todate would be nice.
      maybe we must link module/snippet/plugin data in the database and files that are not stored in the database, that way you know if you have the right file that works with the plugin.

      simply adding a version nummer in the header would do the trick i think.

        I think we will have a versioaning system, by thte time we have a resources installer on MODx. With that we can keep track on every resources version.

        The Dr. MODx will be one of the minor thing that will help MODx to take care of problem and troubleshooting for end user as well. So I’m looking forward for this to be implemented as well.
